      About This Project

      Client Sector: Healthcare

      Project Size: Medium

Client Description: The client is a small company with a ‘Good’ Care Quality Commission Rating in the healthcare sector. The company prides itself on delivering quality care services to individuals in their own homes, care homes, residential homes, and hospitals.

Their team of care workers, support workers, and nurses deliver person-centred care services to help patients live fulfilling and independent lives.

The agency delivers a range of services including Domiciliary Care, Personal Care, Respite Care, Live-In Care, Companionship, Medication Assistance, Domestic Duties, Social Activities, Shopping, and Meal Preparation throughout the Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and Staffordshire areas.

Problems Faced By The Client – Why Did They Need Our Help?

The client wished to expand their business by getting on their local authority’s Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) marketplace as a Registered Supplier.

The DPS Marketplace is a procurement marketplace that has been designed to support social care and NHS organisations by listing quality-assured and accredited supplier solutions.

Becoming registered on the DPS Marketplace would allow the client to bolster their reputation as a trustworthy supplier of care services throughout the Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and Staffordshire areas, while also helping them source more clients as a consequence.

In particular, our client was keen to reach more NHS Providers, who regularly use the DPS Marketplace to find quality-assured and accredited suppliers of care services.

However, the client was struggling with time limitations that affected their ability to complete full and effective responses to bids. Therefore, they reached out to us because they wanted our expertise on how to construct responses with the level of detail required, while also needing us to check their policies to ensure that they would meet the requirements of the local authority.

The Services Provided – How We Met Their Needs

Bid and Tender Support held a kick-off meeting with the client to learn more about their business and how it worked. We then requested their current policies, which we reviewed, identifying several potential improvements that could be made in order to ensure the client met the requirements of potential buyers.

Next, we generated answers to the quality questions, based on information given by the client. We made sure that these responses were answered with the level of detail required by the local authority, and then sent this document to the client for approval.

Following approval, we submitted the application to the local authority on behalf of the client via an online portal.

      The Outcome Of Our Work

As a result of our improving the client’s policies and formulating a well-composed DPS application, the client successfully won a place on the DPS.

This meant they were able to improve their reputation as a trusted provider of care services, while connecting with more clients in the care sector – including the NHS Services they were particularly keen to reach.

      Client Feedback

“I would like to thank you for your outstanding support, we have been awarded the Staffordshire Tender with an overall score of 83%. I will definitely be in contact for more tenders.”
