23 Apr Meet the Team
Over the past year our Team has expanded from 3 to 5 members to support our continued success and growth. We thought this would be a good opportunity to introduce you to the Team:
Katy Berrill – Director
Katy has worked for a wide range of Clients on Bid Management, Writing, Reviewing, Strategy and Training. Katy specialises in helping Organisations with an overall strategic approach to improving their win rate by working with the rest of the Team at Bid & Tender Support to deliver results. She helps organisations to identify changes and improvements in the processes and procedures used by the Organisation and Bid Team. Katy has experience of working in-house in Bid Teams and prides herself in providing a personalised service to Clients, focusing on individual needs and ensuring business success is at the heart of everything we do. In her spare time, Katy enjoys spending time in the great outdoors either our horse-riding, running, walking the dog, skiing or playing sport.
Lesley Hotham – Search Service Coordinator
Lesley is responsible for running our daily Tender Search Service. Lesley’s role involves using a number of pieces of software to screen newly released tender opportunities against Client profiles and sending shortlisted contracts to Clients every day. Lesley works closely with the rest of the Team to register Clients for new opportunities and generally look after all Search Service Clients with her high attention to detail, reliable and methodical approach to work. She brings a wealth of experience in Business Processes, Systems, Customer Service and Relationship Management. In Lesley’s spare time you will find her walking her Chocolate Labrador Ralf or spending time with her family and friends.
Clara-Jane Hoare – Bid & Project Manager
Clara is our Bid & Project Manager, keeping a handle on the Team’s workflow and productivity including overseeing client liaison, document management and research. Her experience covers a varied work background including the finance and legal sectors, architecture and construction, and sales/marketing in film and television distribution, all of which gives her a good foundation for working with our clients from different industries. When Clara’s not making sure that your bids are submitted on time, she paints commissions including wildlife and pets, and loves nothing more than spending a day out in the countryside with a Harris hawk on her arm or taking her two dogs out in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside.
Cat Cook – Bid & Tender Coordinator
Cat’s role as Bid & Project Coordinator means she is involved in a lot of behind the scenes organising, sorting, researching and writing to ensure the Bids we submit for Clients are relevant and compliant. Prior to joining the Bid & Tender Support Team she worked in Customer Services for over 10 years, during her time she worked on a number of projects including changes to the companies route to market strategies with both UK and International customers, the planning phase of a new ERP system and driving improvements in processes to increase customer satisfaction. Cat is a thorough researcher and plans her work to ensure all content is considered and relevant to the application/bid in question. Cat loves spending her time outside of work with her family, going on adventures and making memories.
Julia Hepburn – Compliance Coordinator
Julia is our Compliance Coordinator, working alongside the Bid Team to support our clients in all-things compliance. This includes coordinating the application for new accreditations, annual renewals, auditing and training. A key element of Julia’s role is to oversee the document management and client liaison elements of our Compliance work. Julia is highly experienced working alongside large corporate sales teams supporting business processes. When Julia is not working hard in the office she enjoys spending time with her children and their ponies competing up and down the country, often qualifying for National Championships. Julia volunteers within the local community supporting the homeless at the winter night shelter in Milton Keynes.
A big thanks to David Wellbelove, from DW Images Photography for making the trip over to Olney to take our new Headshots and thank you to The Cowper and Newton Museum for letting us use their Gardens as the location for our shoot, we provided plenty of entertainment to many of the visitors who were on their Easter Egg Hunts whilst we tried to listen to David’s requests on how to stand, smile and look relaxed!
