16 Aug A Year of Challenges…..
We are proud to support one of our valued associates, John Simpson and his son who are hoping to raise £10,000 by completing a series of challenges over the coming months in aid of York Against Cancer.
John and Marcus are currently completing the Lands End to John O’Groats Cycle which will be across 2 weeks. Speaking with John yesterday he said, “We are 2 days in, 170 miles down. The scenery is fantastic, but the hills are a killer!’
They’ve also completed the Coast to Coast bike ride and have the following challenges still to go:
• The Three Peaks (Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowdonia in 24 hours), in September 2016;
• The North Yorkshire Coastal Marathon in October 2016
So many people are touched by cancer every day; we are pleased to help them raise a substantial amount of money to help the charity whose goal is to support all those affected by Cancer; and support research that could help all of us.
