On Wednesday 30th September three members of the Bid & Tender Support Team attended a fully accredited Emergency First Aid at Work Course.
The course was organised by our sister Company KCS Compliance in partnership with KH First Aid Training. To comply with current government guidelines we held the course at the Olney Youth Centre which has a large sports hall for us to safely socially distance and complete the practical elements of the course.
As a Team we were keen to complete the training ASAP as it had been delayed earlier in the year due to Covid-19. Not just at work but also in our everyday lives having a good grasp of basic First Aid is so vital, and for someone could prove life-saving.
Karen from KH First Aid Training was highly engaging provided the course in a very interactive manner using a variety of methods. The course was informative and a few delegates, having completed a number of courses in the past, commented that they found this to be the best they had attended. We all came out feeling highly confident in our new and refreshed skills.
The course content had been adapted to meet the current government and HSE guidance relating to Covid-19. Karen was super-efficient at ensuring everything was thoroughly cleaned and sanitised prior to and during the course.
