      Client Description: An international logistics organisation who offers a fully integrated supply chain solution.  With a high level of customer service and a focus on corporate social responsibility and career development they have a long standing, highly engaged and experienced work force.

       

      Problems Faced by Client – Why did they need our help?

      The Client has two main parts the business, one side who complete tenders on a regular basis and therefore have spent time developing and refining their Tender Library and documents. The second half of the business have not previously had to tender for Contracts in their own right and therefore processes, procedures and documentation was not readily available in the format required for tendering.

      We were contacted through one of our Strategic Partners with one week to go until the Deadline. The Client realised this shortfall in one half of the business and recognised the lack of resource internally to rectify the situation in time for the Deadline of a significant Contract.

       

       Services Provided – Meeting their needs

      Our Director, Katy Berrill spent a day at the Client’s offices with the Senior Leadership Team and key operational staff for this Contract who had been tasked with completing the bid. Our objective was to quickly assess the current state of play, identify quick wins, improvements and a structure to work to for the remaining week to get the most out of the time and resources we had left. By offering strategic advice, critical friend bid reviews and supporting the internal resources focus on achieving high scoring content, we were able to turn the bid around and deliver the content to the Board of Directors for sign off and approval before submission.

      Our work was a combination of on-site Client support and meetings as well as off-site remote bid writing and review support.
