Client Description: Our client, an experienced UK wide security services group, is a leader in providing Security Guarding, Key Holding, Mobile Patrolling, Security Systems and Event Security.
They employ some of the most experienced security personnel in the industry, along with providing industry-leading training and support for staff to add value for their clients.
Problems Faced by Client – Why did they need our help?
As with many rapidly growing businesses, much of the management and administration leadership simply do not have the bandwidth to give adequate attention to their internal writing needs. As many of their projects continue to require extensive writing, the client turned to us for advice on how to structure their approach.
Services Provided – Meeting their needs
The client had previously designed and developed their own Career Programme for the training of security officers at different levels. The content had been pulled together from disparate courses, sessions and workshops. It lacked structure and consistency, and needed a re-write to fit into one over-arching programme that spoke in one voice.
We interviewed the directors and administration team to fully understand all existing content and the bigger picture of the full programme structure. We identified gaps and proposed a format to curate all content into one consistent set of learning materials for each Level – as well as the creation of a template and design for the Learning Workbook to allow personalisation for each delegate.
Outcome of our Work – Improved Win Rate, Gained Accreditation etc.
The format and style for Level 1 is now complete and signed-off by management and will be used to shape further Levels in the Programme. The management Team are free to focus on delivering their objectives without diverting vital resources to maintain their Career programme.
