Problems Faced by Client – Why did they need our help?
An important, established client changed their procurement strategy, where they put all their work out to tender. Given the client had never tendered before, this was a daunting task and critical that they achieved the right outcome.
Additionally, there was little in the way of documented evidence of processes, approach, experience and track record for the company – a vital part of the decision-making process for their client. Business and client institutional knowledge was retained only by one Director, who was heavily involved in operations, meaning there was insufficient capacity to tender effectively.

We audited their current bid resources, and set about filling the gaps. The creation of key documents and the bespoke writing of their policies for submission with their tender helped them to be ‘fit to bid’. Information was gathered in consultation with the director on existing delivery processes, which helped us to fully understand the business model – an essential part of the process for crafting a compelling statement of services.
The Bid Writing and Reviewing process ironed out potential areas of weakness prior to the bid.
